Happy Holidays

Posted on Thursday, December 24, 2009 |
With the holidays today, a full work schedule, and visitors, time has been passing by super fast. I've come to realize how people can truly feel about the holidays being the hardest time of the year. Back in September, when I willingly agreed to work Christmas, I really did not think much of it. However, now I realize that I really do miss my family a lot on the East Coast and our annual holiday traditions: the Christmas Eve gift exchange, complete with prayers and singing; the lazy Christmas morning with breakfast and the Godfather on TV, and then the enormous Donohoe party on the 26th. As much as I groan and pity myself, I do realize how important it is to stay strong and enjoy my life out here--I did pick it didn't I? So as I begin my three days of work in a row tomorrow, I will keep in mind of all my family and friends who I cherish so much. I am grateful for everyone in my life now and am so appreciative of the love and support I have received. So Merry Christmas, enjoy the views from the left coast.

Hi Colleen,

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and saved many lives. I want to organize a Gordon trip to visit you in the spring when the weather is warmer! Here is some gossip, sort of: I read on facebook that Gordon got broken into "again"--so I guess they have been robbed more than once this year?
SCANDALOUS

Great, see you in San Diego for a long weekend in late Spring/summer, can't wait, oooho maybe Memorial Day yes see you then.
